Triple-doped Holmium:Chromium:Thulium YAG (Ho:Cr:Tm:YAG) is a laser material which emits radiation at 2097 nm. HCT:YAG can be pumped by a flashlamp or with laser diodes. It is widely used in military, medicine, and meteorology. Lasers are able to work at a room temperature, havę high slope efficiency, and operate at a wavelength where the threshold for eye damage is relatively high. Main diode pump band is at 785 nm but it can also be pumped between 400 and 800 nm.
