KTA or Potassium Titanyle Arsenate is perfect non-linear optical crystal mainly used for Optical Parametric Oscillation (OPO) systems. OPO which includes KTA are very reliable, exposing energy conversion efficiencies above 50%. Compared to comparable KTP crystals, KTA crystals have significantly reduced absorption in the 3-4 µm range.
