Neodymium Doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet – Nd:YAG laser crystals remains to be the most popular material for solid-state laser manufacturing. It has high gain and very low losses at 1064 nm. Optimised thermal conductivity and thermal shock characteristics make it suitable to produce stable and high characteristics reachable lasers.
